Chris Brown has got to take it easy before they lock him up for good. He was arrested this morning for felony assault after attacking a man outside a Washington DC hotel ...

Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... at around 4:30 AM Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once in the face.  We're told the alleged victim never threw a punch. 

The alleged victim tells TMZ ... he and a friend were hanging out at the W when they saw two woman about to take a picture with Brown. The victim -- who says he's not a Chris Brown fan -- says he and his buddy photo bombed the 2 woman and Chris went nuts, punching him in the face and breaking his nose.  He went to the hospital and says he may need surgery as early as tomorrow.

Law enforcement sources and the alleged victim tell TMZ ... before striking the man, Chris said, "I'm not into this gay s**t, I'm into boxing."  After Chris punched the man, the fight was taken to the ground.

Sources connected with Chris tell TMZ ... the alleged victim is full of BS. He was NOT trying to take a pic with Chris ... he was trying to get on Chris' tour bus, and Brown was simply trying to stop a trespass.  The sources say before the incident the 2 girls tried to get on the bus but they were stopped, and that's when the victim and his friend made their move.

Law enforcement sources say Chris did not appear to be under the influence of anything.

Chris and his bodyguard -- who was also arrested -- will stay in jail today. Under DC law Brown can't get bail so he'll appear before a magistrate Monday, and until then he'll stay behind bars. 

The alleged victim tells TMZ he doesn't understand why Brown was "so homophobic" to hurl such a slur.  And get this ... the victim says he would have accepted an apology at the scene, but now he will absolutely press charges -- and he's already hired a lawyer.

Brown is still on probation in the Rihannabeating case and this could be grounds for violating his probation -- which means he could be sentenced to prison for nearly 4 years ... worst case scenario for him.

Before the incident, Chris had been hosting a party (pic below) at the nearby Park and 14th nightclub.

he’s shooting a new video for the hit
single, Skelewu. The new video is currently
being shot in London, and is directed by
Moe Musa.

shoot. From the looks of it, it looks like it’ll
be a completely different video and one
that’ll be super fun to watch. We’ll have to
wait and see though.

Guy Ever Liveth. The album which features
singles, Durosoke, Rayban Abacha and Yemi
My Love is one of the most anticapted of
the year, even though it was originally
supposed to be a mixtape.
The album which was slated to be released
last Monday (October 14th) was pushed
back because Samklef was also releasing his
album that day, and Olamide didn’t want to
put out on the same day. The new release
date is set for November 7th, 2013.

Iyanya is undoubtedly the man of the season and

he’s got it all working for him!

Adding to his list of brand endorsement deals, the

“kukere” crooner sealed off a N35million deal with

Solo phone this afternoon.

Sealing off his 3rd endorsement this year, Iyanya

was further given a brand new 2013 Prado.

To sign the one year contract, Iyanya had to show

up at the company’s office at Computer Village,

Ikeja and to his amazement, the entire market, fans

were all waiting to catch a glimpse of him.

As a matter of fact, his visit caused a big stir at the

village.

We say congrats to Iyanya!

Davido also said he’s re-shooting the video with UK
based music video director Moe Musa.
In the meantime, here’s an official statement from
the music video director, Sesan regarding the
Skelewu video – the video was shot by him.
“My attention is drawn toward the chaos
surrounding the release of the Skelewu video .
Myself and my team shot the video for Davido in
Nigeria and to the best of my knowledge my client
and his team were very happy with the result, when
they watched/ and approved the video. If he has
since had a change of heart, that is ok. I am not in
any way responsible for the release of the video. I
believe Davido and myself did a very good job
regarding the video production and as a
professional of over 10 years. I find it very
irresponsible and immature if my client and his
management publicly put out false statements/
comments, in an attempt to tarnish my name,
credibility and reputation. I remain dedicated,
humble, focused and as hard working as ever.

over a week after it was hacked and taken over by
unknown people who later demanded money to give
it back. The hackers used Iyanya's twitter handle to
scam a few people. One girl went as far as coming
to Nigeria thinking she was communicating with
Iyanya *covers face* but just to protect the people
involved, we won't share their DM's...just a few not

A Lao Airlines plane crashed today Wednesday

October 16th killing all 44 passengers and five crew

members on board. The twin-engine turbo plane

was on a domestic flight from the capital Vientiane

to the airport in the Champasak province in the

Southern Asian country when it plunged into the

river as it tried to land at Pakse International Airport.

Passengers from 11 different countries were in the

plane including three South Koreans, seven French,

one American, one Chinese, one Taiwanese, one

Canadian, five Australians and two Vietnamese.

State-owned Lao Airlines issued a statement

saying the small plane ran into "extreme bad

weather conditions" and crashed at 4:00pm (local

time).

Davido shot Skelewu video with prolific music video director Sesan and apparently didn't like it and was planning to do a re-shoot but someone leaked the video. Davido says he's planning to reshoot the video tomorrow with UK based music video director, Moe Musa. Hopefully, that will be a better vid.
